Sir,

In reply to your two Letters respectively dated the 20th December and 29th of last January, and in compliance with the desire of the Earl Bathurst communicated to the Governor in a Letter recently received, I am directed to have the Honor to convey to you this intimation of His Excellency's readiness to cause the Surveyor General to measure to you Five Thousand (5000) Acres of Land adjoining your present property in the Cowpastures to the Westward of the
