Sir,

I beg to return Your Excellency my respectful and grateful thanks for the obliging & ready answers in which you have been pleased to express your desire of carrying into effect the instructions of Lord Bathurst with respect to this additional Grant of 5000 Acres of Land in The Cow Pastures.

In obedience to your Excellency I have now the honor to submit a plan for the measurement of the additional 5000 Acres such for the consolidation of the whole of my Lands in the Cow Pastures, which will, I humbly conceive insure as far as is now practicable the fulfilment of his Lordship's wishes, - "That a tract of Land should be secured to me for preserving my Flocks in their present state of purity and perfection, without incurring the
