Sir

I have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 8th Instant enclosing an application to Lord Bathurst on behalf of your Father's claim to an Extension of his Grant of Land in New South Wales and I have in reply to acquaint you that when the report of Mr Bigge on the State of the Colony shall come before his Lordship I will not fail to submit to him your Application.
