This wine is for London Shipment. Messrs Thacker & Co are about purchasing a parcel of Wine also, the particulars I am not aware of yet. By this post I have forwarded you a newspaper the Empire & wish to call your attention to the "Trade Report". The news & reports from Europe must barely affect our Wine Market here. - It affords me much pleasure to learn of the favourable report of the Vintage, and hope & trust it will prove productive.
The two Cases of [indecipherable] leave here before Saturday next. I received a note respecting [indecipherable] from a "Mr Sanderson,' -- [Channels?] team arrived this morning & I have loaded him with 17 Bags of Maureteus Sugar weight 22 cwt 3qrs 22 lbs. Tare 4 lbs ea Bag - Also 8 Brandy Hhds he could not take more but promised to send a dray on Friday for a load. I have 6 Quarter Casks. 8 Hhd 2 Puncheons & 1 Pipe ready. I regret I did not forward
