Aucarot if equally convenient to you. Some of those who have tasted your Aucarot at my table, have supposed the wine was not free from brandy - I professed my belief that it was free - will you please certify me upon that point -
I am happy to find that Capt Best did not put the wine you sent him into a wine merchants hands - but sent him samples. So we suppose that the wines [repose?] in the Captain's cellar - and I trust we may yet have a more agreeable report which you anticipated -
I congratulate you upon your Constitutional Labours. and altho' I do not care much about such things, believing them to be ephemeral indeed - yet it is gratifying to see Demagogues at a Discount.
