My Dear Sir,
I feel obliged by your letter of the 30th ult.  and have perused with interest your observations on the great French Vineyards.   there is, I see, even more of the principles of a skilled manufacturing in producing their supply than I imagined.  but I suppose the climate which is adapted to develop a good body in the grape-juice, and that with the least inconstancy, must in the end be best for the Wine-produceder.
Now I suppose this is likely to be the case with Australia, and if her wholesome wines
