[November 11, 1918]

Letters from A.H., McCaskill.
Wrote to A.H., J.F., Aunt Liz.

On Parade this morning & afternoon.

After the afternoon parade we learned that the Armistice was signed by Germany, & every body are overjoyed.

After tea I went into Warminster & the band is playing, our fellows marching, & singing & all sorts of fine works & flags flying.  It was a pretty sight.  Went to the pictures tonight.  It is very very cold now, but we are overjoyed & forgot about the cold.

Looking forward to my discharge in England or Aussie now.
