Wrote to Miss Bruce & home & J.F.
Letters from J.F. & Bob

Waked at 8 AM & set the table for breakfast, tablecloth on, yea everything is spotlessly clean. Just had a walk up through the village & got some bottles of cider out of a cellar for dinner, it made our dinner very nice.

A Fritz plane was over here very low this morning & a lot of our M.G's were firing but they did not get him. Went looking around the Town, there is plenty of stuff around but very little things you want to send home. We had a bit of a shot at Fritz's Plane. We were out on the lines this evening & it is a lovely evening, not to dark & very quiet just nice for a walk but not up the line.
