No Bread

It is raining a little this morning & we are on fatigue taking manure away from the horse lines. In the after we had a walk to Couin & St LegerĀ [Saint-Leger-les-Authie] only about 3 miles. I see they are fixing the railway line up again. We had a job on Piquet duty this evening from 7 PM till about 10 PM & it was raining a little all the time, everything is up to the neck of mud & water. Our guns are doing a little firing this evening but nothing to speak of. They are bringing a lot of ammunition up here so perhaps there will be something doing.
