Letters from J. F. & Aunt Liz.
Wrote to Aunt Liz.

I set out at 8.20 AM this morning to go to the 4th field ambulance on dental treatment. I lost my way & got to Bailleul where I saw the effects of a few shells Fritz put over yesterday, houses blown down, & in one back yard I saw two dead cows, the people seemed to have the wind up. I got to the 4th field about dinner time & got one tooth filled. Got back to Neuve Eglise [also known as Nieuwkerke, Belgium] about 4 PM it is a very quiet night.
