[August 5, 1918]

Wrote to Aunt Liz. I.F, Home, L.Bruce & Bob

We enjoyed our nice quiet sleep in the tent & my word it is nice to be in Pajamas again. After breakfast i walked down to the village (Crouy).
After tea we left in the red cross train for the base Hospital. We passed by Abbeville on the way down. We had a very comfortable ride in the train & I slept in the bottom of the carriage.
