[July 21, 1918]

Wrote 27 to A.H & Home & G. Turnbull.

The men who were to receive M.M. ribons had to report at the orderly room at 9.15 & we all marched on to the parade together. It was a full Bde Church Parade, & after the short service we received our ribons & they also gave out the prizes for yesterdays sports, I had a swim after parade just before dinner, & after dinner I read & wrote letters. After tea I went about 3 miles to the 30th Bn transport to enquire for Bob & the nearest I got was he may be in the line. It is a lovely night, just right for walking.
