Wrote to Aunt Meg & Mrs Mount
Letters from Miss Bruce & Aunt Meg
We got out of bed & had a wash & breakfast about 8.30. We are fixed up a room & we have a white table cloth on the table & plenty dishes. I went out after Breakfast & found 4 bottle of beer which I thought was wine & a lovely table cloth & wine glasses & servettes & we had the table set lovely for dinner, flower on & everything just like home, we did it for a joke but its absolutely beautiful. Tea was the same & a mate & me found some bottles of cider which we enjoyed a treat. A lot of Fritzs planes were over here Bombing this evening & one was brought down close to were we are. Everything is very comfortable here & we are making the best of it. It is a treat to have such a nice place, we have of course made it nice.
