Letter from E.Pinnock & our Jack
Wrote to E.Pinnock

Early this morning I left without leave to go to Pernois (about 40 Kilo) to see Bob. We went via Amiens, Flesseles, Vignacourt & Berteaucourt [-les-dames] to Pernois & arrived there about 2.30 PM only to find Bob had left for his Bn about 3 days ago. We left for Home straight away & got home about 9 PM & I went straight in for a swim & straight to bed for the night feeling very tired.
It is raining again this evening.
