[July 15, 1918]

Letter from Bob.
Wrote 24 to A.H.

We had a parade at 9 AM which consisted of going through a gas chamber & inspection of helmets. We also had a bath & a new change of clothes. We had nothing to do after dinner, & we put most of the time in swimming. It is very warm & we are enjoying it a treat.
It rained very heavy through the night & I had to drop the side of my shelter.
