Sent Parcel of souviners to A. Harvey

Glisy
Mothers Day

I was wakened this morning by our guns opening out a very heavy barrage, it will be to break Fritzs preparation for an attack. We had breakfast about 9 AM & I went back to Glisy for a walk, it was raining a little but I did not get too wet. We had very little to do after dinner, only spent the day as we pleased. Our guns have just been firing steady all day & Fritz has been very quiet. A lot of baloons & a few planes up today.  Some of our mates went up the line for a look around we move up tomorrow.

Everything is very quiet this evening & it is lovely around about here especially in the wood.
