Letters from Mrs Swanson &Miss McCaskill

We got warned for guard this morning & fell in at 8.30 AM. We are guarding some of our prisoners near the river. I went in for a swim this morning & afternoon. After tea we got warned to go back to the Bn & we all feel glad, because we expect to go over the top & there is two Coys of U.S Boys attached to our Bn.
Its nice to meet these U.S Boys & I am happy to be going over the top with them. Every body seems anxious for this attack & I feel sure it will be a success.
