[April 24, 1918]

We fell in this morning for inspection about 10 AM had dinner at 11.30 AM & we marched about a mile & caught the motor bus's. We passed Henu, Famechon, Thievres, Marieux. Puchevillers at 3.50 PM, Rubempre, Pierrigot & Rainneville, & we pitched our tents in the little wood near Allonville.

It started to rain this evening just as we started putting up our tents. About 7 PM we started to lay lines from Orderly room to C.O & back to Corps. & it kept us going all the night, we heard the guns going at 10 PM & we learned that the 15 Bde had hopped over.
