Wrote to Pinnock 7 & Frank

We got lost in coming back from H.Q to the Sunken road were we are camped in little dugouts. We found our home about 2 AM & I was very tired but could not sleep on account of my sore throat with the gas which made me cough all night. After breakfast this morning I shifted to another dugout & laid down till dinner. We did very little today, only had a walk into the village. My eyes & throat are sore with the gas, I got an offer to go back out of it but I wanted to stay.

We have a comfortable little dugout & every thing is alright.
