[October 25, 1918]

Letter from A. Linz & card from Aminno.
Wrote to A.H.

This is Saturday.

I got a job washing out our hut this morning, I preferred it to parade because if I went on parade I may get caught for the piquet.

I left camp by cycle about 12 noon & rode to Beckington, after tea I went to Frome & to the pictures.  Got back home to Beckington about 9.30 & very soon into a nice warm bed, my word it is nice to get out here for the weekend.  The people I stay with are very kind & you can make yourself at Home.
