Wrote 14th to Pinnock & Mrs Swanson

It is raining very heavy this morning so I kept in my little shelter, & in the afternoon we had more rain. After tea I went to the 4th Bde concert & it was the best we have had for a long time.
Either very late this evening or early on the 28th Fritz was around here with a lot of Planes dropping bombs, the nearest to us must have been 400 yards away but you could hear his planes straight above us.
