Letter from A.H. Wrote 33rd to A.H.
When we awoke this morning it was nice & fine, Oh I forgot my mate called me at 5 AM to take turn on the Phone. It was very quiet around here today, only Fritz is still putting shells into Villers Bretonneux. Our relay Sig station is just on the outskirts of the railway Station. The village is in ruins hardly a house left standing. Everything was fairly quiet, except at times when he thinks it fit to put a few over, he put some very very near our dugout once & we were thinking about moving when he stopped. We enjoy ourselves in our dugout, only the trenches are knee deep in mud & water.
