[June 19, 1918]

On Parade in the morning doing bayonet exercises again. & I went down for a swim at dinner time.
It was raining in the afternoon & we were on learning the MG in our canvas shelters.
We got paid after tea & then I went along the river to a village & got a third of a sandbag of strawberries. There is quite a lot of gambling around here since the boys got paid.
It stopped raining after tea.
