Letter from G. Turnbull.
Wrote to G. Turnbull, Pinnock 2nd Home & J. F.

Fritz has been putting a few shells a few hundred yards from here early this morning & we were all awake, in fact seriously thinking about going down stairs. It is looking very dull & about 10 AM it started to rain which lasted all day. I set off for the 4th Field Amb but had to return it was too wet.

Writing in the YMCA this evening, a short Service held about 8 PM. Still raining this evening.
