was fined with Isinglass according to your directions and it hs been bottled in a beautiful clear state.
I was very much pleased to read in the Herald of yesterday your brother's letter.  Knowing, as I do, something of the French "Bureaucratie" I can easily conceive all the trouble he must have endured, and I think that the Colony cannot be too grateful to him for his labours -- He must however have been highly gratified at the admiration expressed from all quarters at some of the Australian produce, such as wool and wine in which we know that he must have felt more than ordinary interest --
