Extract from the letter of Mr G [Parker?] [indecipherable] 1849
My father determined not be broach any more of the Wine which [indecipherable] sent until it had time to get thoroughly settled – and a day or two ago – we had a bottle of each sort and you can have little conception how much it has improved or indeed how excellent it is – both were as fine as [indecipherable] but the darker of the two is the richest by far and would pass for a [indecipherable] of light bodied liquor and no doubt will [indecipherable] further improve by age – The lighter
