[December 4, 1918]

Came of guard this morning & I made inquiries about my leave.  They kept me running all day about it & I just got fixed up about tea time.

Left Warminster about 8.30 & got to London about midnight.

We got into a car which took us to a Salvation Army place where we got a little supper & a bed.  There was about 300 in the one room soldiers & Sailors.
