[November 8, 1918]

This morning & afternoon I just knocked about Newhaven having a walk along the Brighton road.  After tea we took the train to Seaford, but were not allowed to go into any of the Picture Palace & etc.  We walked home in the evening & left it too late so we had to run home the last mile.  We will always remember our little experience today.

Annie got home a little late, & I felt quite tired with running home.
