[November 7, 1918]

Just had a nice walk around this morning, it is a beautiful day more like Summer again.  We caught the 1.28 PM at Newhaven for Brighton, & stayed about ¾ hour at Lewes for a connection.  Brighton is a very nice place having a very nice sea front & promenade.  At 6 PM we went to the Hippodrome & the organ recital was very very good, had to leave at 7.30 to catch our train home.  I will always remember my trip to Brighton.
