[July 13, 1918]

Letter from T.Kilpatrick
Wrote 23 to A.H. & T.K. Mrs Mount & Edmond Aimino.

I woke about 8. AM & dived straight into the water before breakfast & it was not too cold only I felt very hungery & a bit weak, No special Parades today only a little bit cleaning up. There is a lot of swimming around here & some cricket. I went to a barn today & got some straw for my bed & it made a big improvement it is well worth the trouble getting it. My bed is lovely now with the straw & two blankets & white sheets & a pillow, had a swim about 9 PM & went straight to bed in my little shelter.
