We had a good rest in our tunnel & after breakfast I went up to the front line to have a look around. I got a good view over the top and made myself fully aquainted with the ground we had to go over & the direction, I spent a few hours on it because I did not want to get lost with the telephone line.
About 9 PM we moved up to the front line & waited till the time came for us to go over. It is very quiet, you would hardly think there is to be a hop over shortly.
All quiet & feeling well.
