[June 2, 1918]

Letter from Bob wrote to Bob.

Sunday, No parade this morning except a march down to the river for a swim, & it was lovely, I was 3 times down to the river for a swim. The 16th Bn band gave us a few tunes & it was very good, the Sgt gave us a few tunes on his cornet, (The Rosery [Rosary], Bonny Mary of Argyle & The Perfect day), which was extra good.

The only thing that told us it was Sunday, was we could hear the Tommies singing on Church Service close by.

It has been a beautiful day. The YMCA has moved up here with us.

A quiet night. Got word that two of our Sig got killed today.
