I could not lie in bed this morning it is sach a fine morning, I was down on the beach about 9 AM, & the sea is lovely & calm, also a lovely sky & bright Sun.

I went into the sea for a swim & after swimming about for about 200 yards I came to shore & to my surprise I could hardly walk, the sea must have been colder I exspected.

I went up the hill to see my friends & after dinner we had a walk along a lovely path with beautiful wattle on either side, the wattle is perfect, the French call it "mimosa". We also had a walk down on the beach, part of it is not unlike the South Coast.

We saw some Tommies pass here in the train going to Italy. Its been a lovely day real Aussie weather.

I went to some pictures this evening but they were not too good, only a few there.
