number thirteen. We also had thirteen in our mess on board. I am feeling fine, have gained weight - am now ten stone I got a letter from Mother yesterday & it was a great relief. I also got some papers from Dad. Today I got notice to call at the camp P.O. for a parcel and it turned out to be an air-pillow, which will be just the thing. Do you remember Mrs Mark's niece working for one of the chaps I knew at Liverpool, Burnie by name, well he turned up with the 11th of the 1st at the same time as Jack He told me that he had received something from her, but I forget her name. He is communicating with her. I'm visiting the dentist just now, and it is running me into £3-8-0. Fred Smith went into the mump's hospital yesterday so Dick will have company. I have just received your welcome and first letter dated Oct 28th. I also got one from Jen, one from Dad and one from George Jefferys quite a mail, almost too much for me.
