At it once again, and as there is a prospect of getting them ashore tomorrow, I will have to close directly.  Of course I cannot tell you where they will be sent ashore.  I went to church this morning and like the Chaplain very well, so well that I am going to a voluntary service tonight.  He is much better than poor old Mac.  We sighted land this morning, the first time for four days.  It was quite a welcome sight.  Did I tell you before that I had lost my belt a couple of days after we sailed.  Well luckily I had taken the knife and money out of it the night before and forgot to put it back.  I did not hear or see anything of it until today, when just as we had finished dinner, a chap walked past with it on  Of course I grabbed him quick and lively, (he was smaller than I) and after a little persuasion he parted with it.  I entered for a draught tournament last night & probably will be able to give you the result next letter.
Our mess has come to an agreement, that twelve months from the day peace is declared they will all meet at the Marble Bar for a re-union.  This we are sworn to do.  I just left to see a school of flying fish.  Have just bought a couple of photographs of the boat and am sending you one signed by each one of our mess.  If I can get the films developed I will initial each figure and you will
