and you will notice I have got yours & Mums slightly mixed, but that won't matter much as I crossed it out This letter is being added to daily so will be disjointed, but I know you will make allowance for that.
We get very little change day by day. Another school of whales appeared first thing this morning, also the smoke of a ship tonight. All of our mess had their photoes taken three times today. All of us had our heads shaven. If we can get them developed in Egypt I will send you one, but if we cannot get them done there, we will send the films back to Sydney & have one forwarded to you from there. We had an alarm today, as practise, & all had to don the lifebelts. I forgot to tell you that we have three mascots on board two dogs and a fox. One of the dogs was dropped overboard from one of the launches and the sailors boys of the 4th, pulled him aboard with the aid of a rope. I am just going up on deck to have a look round before turning in so will say Good night till tomorrow
