Dear Nell,
Still waiting for a mail, & waiting anxiously, as it seems months since I had one from you, although it is only about a fortnight. We are reorganising just now, & am glad to say that I have managed to get one of my old cobbers, Les Rogers into my team. We have several of the old eleventh in the Bombers now, but he is the only one you would know anything of. Just at present we are back out of the sound of strife & training our reinforcements, getting them ready for the next little proposition we have to tackle. The weather just now is rather warm, but we are right down in a big valley, with a fine little river running through it. Everything is green, & it is very restful after the kind of thing we just left. Although its so very nice, I know of a far better place, & nicer companions by far.
