You know I am not used to addressing letters to Ladies & dont know what to put up here)

I think it is only right to let you know that Alan is a big pest, nuisance & all the rest of it, so I am going to put him away & I have got a mate here (Harry Wheat) to substantiate all my remarks. Now to start with he is writing alongside of me now & seems to think that he is entitled to the use of the whole of this table & I can only manage to get a very small corner about 6 inches square & that is in semi darkness too. Then again the 3 of us had supper a couple of nights ago, at least that is what we intended to do but Harry & I got practill practically nothing to eat, because Alan got at it before us. What do you think of a fellow, who will do a thing like that? Al. has just told me that "fellow" means a sheep stealer but he is worse than that because he had our bullock, fowl & farm produce, I mean steak & eggs with chips. I think I have written sufficient this time & hope that I will not have cause to complain about his conduct again.
