4.  Sorry your scarf was a bit long, (so was the price( but not long enough for a little girlie whom I know).  Am sorry to say that I will not be able to send you any more p.cards for awhile, but if we go over yonder, I will possibly be able to send some from the isle.  Am surprised to hear of Cecil, he will find the life a little different from his present one, I bet.  Am sorry I had to miss the concert on New Years night but the next will be more appreciable.  Has that chap in Northcote Rd improved on the Pipes, if so send him over here he is badly wanted.  Has the hot weather broken yet.  It still rains & rains, heavy at that over here.  Very sorry to hear you do not get any pleasure in the washing up.  I never thought I made the job any lighter.  If thats a fact I will do a lot of it when I come back again.
 Cousin Hamish was a very lucky chap & I only hope I have half his luck.
