Dear Nell,
I received another of your letters yesterday, also Jen's & Mums. The photo's Mum enclosed, are certainly characters. The one with Arch in it would have been a beauty, only for the accident. I was glad she sent yours on, although it was not of the best, Still it was not so bad.
Those needles of yours seem to be a permanent fixture to your hands. I'm afraid that if things last much longer, you will get very sick of the sight of wool & needles, & perhaps of the person who causes the labour. If every body worked, like you, Jen, & Mum, I reckon that none of our boys would ever be without socks. Fine weather, has at last made its appearance, & its to be hoped it means to stay. As you know, yesterday, was the celebration of Anzac Day, & each one of us, received a slice of cake, in honor of the occasion.
