The scenery over this way is not so bad, (consists mostly of sand bags) & the company is not so bad, but I know of better, by a long chalk. Have you heard anything of Arthur lately, It is some time since I had any news from him, but think it must have been on account of his movements, as they say they are now over here, & only a few miles from where we are. I am keeping an eye open for him, & when he does come to light, I intend to try & get him transfered, as I should like to have him with me again, & I know his mother was very disappointed that we did not keep together. One of the chaps here saw Jack Nunn yesterday, & the others, Fred, Mick & Andy are back having a spell. Its great, all being so close to one another as, we can always exchange news from home. Well, Nell as I have a little job to do now, I will
