Fred Dodwell, has completed his contract at last, & I suppose they have settled down by this. Marj wrote me last mail, she appears to be the same hard-case as she was, when I left. I suppose the dancing season has started now. I'm sorry I've missed it, A jolly good dance, is just what I could thoroughly enjoy. There is bound to be a fair sprinkling of wall-flowers this season. One consolation you all will have, & that is that Lady Bob & his long tailed coat, will still be with you. What is the exhibition, at the University, that you say he had. There seems to be only one mistake made, in regards to Mcs send-off, & that is, you treated him so well, he'll want to come back again. Somebody, seems to have worked the ropes, with the cakes that night. Jens suggestion, about sending it over here, was a good one, As you say I have got a great weakness for chocolate icing & would soon
