the "Anzac Book" yet? I got a glimpse of one the other day, & it appears to be rather good. Did you ask Dad if he had seen the book "Fragments from France" If you can get hold of it, its great. I have one in my pack, but am told I cannot send it home. Should I get an opportunity I shall do so. So far my parcel with other pair of puttees have not arrived, nor No 2 parcel, but they must be handy. They usually arrive a few days after the letters. Thanks for the trial you gave the second pair, they will be worth their weight in gold now, that is if they have not stretched. Anyway, I can't see the other fellow getting them. Yes, I heard from Father that Pod H was back. Pleased to see that Arthur S. managed to get away, & that he is alright again. You seemed to have had a good trip out to Parramatta, the drag, & Mum must have been rather comical, the ladder must have be fairly strong. We have not seen, or heard our Pepe Band since we landed, as they have to entertain Fritz, with music of a more frightful brand, in this part of the world.
