3. Mrs F. Dodwell & asked for a bit of the cake. Called in & saw Noel Cuthbert today & had a long talk with him. He introduced me to a couple of other officers, but I forget their names now. They did not create a very great impression, Not one of the three. Noel presented me with a couple of cigs & that was about all the benefit I got out of the visit. Andy Godber went to Cairo today, & posted a couple of letters for me. I am enclosing a few more photos, & want you to compare them with those I sent Mother the other day. I did not get them all at the same time & have forgotten which I sent to you. You are to share the groups equally & I think there is one each of the others for you. Have you managed to wet yourself through with the new hose yet. I suppose Jen has completed the laying out of the garden by this time. Arch seems to have had a good time up the river.
