Dear Nell
As you will see by the above address, we have been transfered to Liverpool. They tell us we are the 11th reinforcements to the 4th Batt. We have done practically nothing all day, but prepare for our trip to Liverpool. We packed everything up this morning, and they sent all our goods up by cart. When we came to look for our blankets, and baggage, nothing could be found by the person that wanted it. After some hunting, I managed to collect all of mine, but some unfortunates, are still looking, and cursing. I am writing this letter under difficulties, on my knees in the tent, an unusual position for me, you must admit. Well Nell, I told you I was not going to rest until I obtained
