8.  come to a close.  Please don't forget when you write, to enclose some paper & envelopes as I am absolutely stumped & likely to be more so later on.  
We did a twelve mile march over the sands this morning with full pack up, & I came back as fresh as a daisy, so you can imagine the nick I am in.  The only thing that troubles me is the lice & the cold at nights.  Two blankets, a sheep skin vest, & a guernsey does not keep it out.  Arthur got quite a host of letters today so I suppose I will hear some more news from him.
Best love to all the family with extra supply for yourself
