I wonder if he felt, as weak at the knees, as I, when he asked Mrs. C's permission.  Someone told me the other day that Roy Arch had twisted his leg & thought that he would be discharged.  Both of them seemed to have had a good time before leaving.  When you see Mr McGoun again tell him that I said that he can remove my name from the roll if Masons remains on as it is not a Roll of Honor as long as his remains.  Be sure and tell him as I consider it a great insult to us all.  Am glad John had the sense to refuse his bail.  Gaol is far too good for him.  I would like to have five minutes with him, I would try to do my best.  I'm pleased to hear that A. Jowett has been located, hope I have his luck.  If either Arthur or I reach England I guess we will be O.K.  I am very sorry indeed Nell that Dad
