Dear Nell,
At it once more. Your letter of 16/4/16 arrived safely with the two photos enclosed. It is a very good one of Arch, & yours is N.T.B. but of course nothing like as good, as the one I brought away with me. I see you received my letter, with the so called polite epistle written by V. Membray, & H. Wheat. As far as I know Viv is still in Egypt, & Harry is over here. He has a real soft job now as a carpenter, with the Pioneer Batt. The last time I saw him he was just coming away from the baths. Where we have been, we were able to get a hot bath every day, & also a complete change of underclothing. It was a real home, for the time we were there, & we were all sorry to leave it. That little mix-up with Alan Power will certainly give him a jolt, he will think it a preliminary before a Leap Year proposal. If she only signs as Flossie, he will wonder who the dickens it is. I dont know how Mary got the idea that my address had altered to 56th Batt, unless Arthur wrote her & she thought
