auction, as there were only about fifty copies printed.  They brought from 5/- to 25/- each.  I did not get one as I was not financial.  The paper is called The Lincoln Lyre.  I will send you a copy later on if I can get one.
I tried to smoke the pipe again yesterday for the first since I came aboard and I had to give it best, worse than sea-sickness.  I am at present very sore from sunburn, as we wear only shorts and singlet.
Did the second lot of proofs turn out any better.  If I can afford to buy a camera in Cairo I will send you some photoes.  We have called MacDonald Parra, the human talking machine.  Parra is short for Parramatta & parrot.
Joe won a potato race yesterday & was rewarded with £1.  So far the 11th of 4th have won most of the events in the sports which are being carried on for another week.  Before we go into the
