Dear Nell
As you will see, we are at Warwick Farm. Things are pretty bad so far, hardly anything to eat. Stew, well its awful & I had a ripping head last night & Jack is slightly off color today. We will soon get into the swing of things & then it will be better. We are a new Comp & consequently are not yet organised. We will in all probability get of on Sunday. Remind Arch to get my belt in & I will get it when I come up. Get Arch to tell them at home, my [ ] location, as I cannot catch the mail. Will write you a longer letter next time.
